Payment Terms

Last updated: 18 September 2026

These Payment Terms explain how payments for our services may be made and how payment information is handled.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Where available and enabled, Brilliant Beacon Services accepts payment by:

  • PayPal
  • Debit or credit card, including Visa and Mastercard where supported by our payment provider
  • Bank transfer

The payment methods currently available for a particular service or booking will be displayed on our Payment page or communicated to you before payment is required.

2. Payment Process

PayPal and card payments may be processed through secure, hosted third-party payment services.

Where payment is processed through a third-party payment provider, payment information is handled by that provider in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.

Brilliant Beacon Services does not intentionally collect or store your full card number or CVV through this website.

For bank-transfer payments, customers should use the bank details and payment reference provided by Brilliant Beacon Services.

3. Payment Confirmation

A payment confirmation page, email or message does not necessarily mean that payment has been successfully received or verified.

Where our payment provider supports secure payment verification or web hooks, Brilliant Beacon Services may use those systems to verify the status of a payment before treating it as confirmed.

Where payment cannot be verified, we may contact the customer to confirm the payment status.

4. Bank Transfer Payments

Bank transfers may take time to reach and clear in our business account.

Customers making a bank transfer should use the payment reference requested by Brilliant Beacon Services so that the payment can be correctly matched to the relevant quotation, booking or invoice.

A booking or service appointment may not be treated as fully confirmed until the required payment has been received and verified, where applicable.

5. Prices and Additional Charges

The applicable price for our services will normally be stated in the quotation, booking confirmation or invoice.

Where additional work or materials are requested or reasonably required beyond the agreed scope of work, we will inform the customer of any additional cost before carrying out the additional work where reasonably practicable.

Where VAT is applicable, the applicable VAT will be included or clearly identified in the price provided to the customer.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund rights depend on the service booked, the terms agreed with the customer and applicable UK consumer law.

Where a statutory cancellation or refund right applies, Brilliant Beacon Services will honour that right.

Where a customer cancels a booking, any refund or amount payable will be determined in accordance with the applicable agreement, work already carried out, reasonable costs incurred and applicable law.

Where a deposit or advance payment is required for a particular service, the amount and applicable conditions will be communicated to the customer before payment is taken.

Brilliant Beacon Services will not automatically treat all deposits or advance payments as non-refundable where the customer has a statutory right to a refund.

For further information, please see our Cancellation and Refunds section in our Terms & Conditions.

7. Payment Problems

If you believe a payment has been made but has not been correctly recorded, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Your name
  • Booking or quotation reference, where available
  • Date of payment
  • Amount paid
  • Payment method
  • Payment reference or transaction reference, where available

We will investigate the matter and work with the relevant payment provider where necessary.

8. Third-Party Payment Providers

PayPal and other payment providers may have their own terms, conditions, privacy policies and payment-processing procedures.

Customers should review the applicable third-party provider's terms where appropriate.

Brilliant Beacon Services is not responsible for a third-party payment provider's systems, availability or policies, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Payment Security

We take reasonable steps to protect payment-related information.

Customers should never send full card numbers, CVV/security codes, passwords or other sensitive payment information to Brilliant Beacon Services by ordinary email.

If you receive a message requesting payment to different bank details from those previously provided, please contact Brilliant Beacon Services directly using our established contact details before making the payment.
